How to Cleanse the Body Juices

How to Cleanse the Body Juices

Cleansing the body juices has many healthful benefits, including clearer skin, increased physical energy and increased overall strength of the immune system. Everyday toxins store in our fat cells, and cleansing the body juices is a highly favorable, noninvasive way to recapture optimum health for the body. Using juices, you can flush your system and clean away chemicals lingering inside you.

Instructions

    1
    Drink your veggies!

To cleanse your body's juices, buy fresh, organic fruit and vegetable juices. Buying a juicer and making your own juice is optimum. Otherwise, buy unsweetened fruit and vegetable juices at your local co-op, health food store or farmer's market. The fruits and vegetable juices most recommended for cleansing the body juices are apple, pineapple, cranberry, celery, carrot, kale, cabbage, beets, and spinach and other greens. Avoid citrus as it is too acidic, especially grapefruit juice. Drink around 64 ounces of the juices of your choice a day for a period of three days. Sip the juices throughout the day.

    2

Drink at least 32 ounces of fresh, purified water in addition to 64 ounces of juice per day for three consecutive days. During this time, abstain from all food, alcohol, sugar, caffeine and soft drinks. Omitting food and increasing your fluid intake for three days cleanses the body juices of toxins that build up in the bloodstream from diet and the environment.

    3

Get ample rest during the three-day cleansing period. Pick a time to body cleanse during a three-day weekend, vacation or other rest period. Avoid heavy workouts during the three-day period to avoid increased fatigue. Take one or two naps during the day to promote healing.

    4

Dress in layers and wear warm clothes during your cleansing period. The body's temperature will lower in the absence of solid food, making you feel cold. Bundle up even if it is sunny outside.

    5

During this three-day period, stay tuned to your body and the side effects from the fast while cleansing the bodies juices. Be prepared for possible headaches, usually due to caffeine withdrawal, and fatigue and light-headedness, as a result of not eating solid food. If you experience these normal symptoms, sip your juice and water and lie down frequently as needed. Do not make any demands upon yourself. If negative side effects persist, discontinue the fast and talk to your physician as you may have hidden health issues.
