Herbal Weight Loss Flush

There are many programs designed to flush your system out that also allow you to lose weight quickly. There are herbal weight loss flush diets that can help you achieve this goal, quickly and safely. The FDA does not completely endorse the use of herbal remedies, however, millions of people use herbs on a daily basis for a multitude of issues.

Why Herbs Work

Your digestive tract, particularly the liver, constantly works to break down and flush out all the substances that are put into the body every day. Over time, harmful toxins begin to build up, which can lead to a plethora of problems, particularly a sluggish metabolism, weight gain, fatigue, irritability, and overall poor health.

The body may need a bit of help in getting the toxins flushed out altogether, and this is where herbs come in. There are many available, such as dandelion root, turmeric and milk thistle, that will speed up the detoxification process of your organs, which in turn will flush out excess waste. Weight loss will naturally be the next step.

How to Flush the Body

An herbal weight loss flush can be easy to do. To begin, change your diet to include nothing but organically grown fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, fish, beans, and water. Cut back on sugars, caffeine and dairy products greatly, or rid your diet of them completely.

Herbs can greatly increase the flush, as well. One example is ginger, which can be added to fruit smoothies for a comforting tonic. Green tea is another popular herbal remedy that has been used for centuries in Asia and other parts of the world. Its properties are said to help a person lose weight naturally, simply by drinking a cup or two of green tea a day.

Herbs for a Natural Diuretic

Those attempting the herbal weight loss flush can also benefit from a diuretic, to increase urination. A natural one can be made at home.

Using either a quarter cup of borage leaves or one teaspoon of either fennel, mustard seed or burdock seed, add about two cupfuls of boiling water to the chosen ingredient for a diuretic tea. This can be drunk several times per day, and can help with weight loss.

Water is also an important part of a weight loss flush, as the body can quickly become dehydrated. Dehydration can cause dizziness, fatigue and headaches, so be sure the body is getting enough liquids to stay healthy.
