Fastest Way to Lose Weight in 20 Days

If you are looking forward to a class reunion in three weeks and can't quite fit into that new outfit you bought, you might be considering a quick weight loss program. Using diet pills and extreme diets may help, but they could put your body at risk by limiting your nutrients and necessary caloric intake. Fortunately you can lose weight within 20 days by making a few adjustments to your eating habits, sticking to certain kinds of exercises, and having a sauna session every other day.

Eating Habits

One strategy that seems to work for quick weight loss is making adjustments to not just what you eat and drink, but how you do it. If you eat smaller meals, it keeps your metabolism burning constantly versus sitting on large meals that can make you sleepy. By moving your carb-heavy meals to the morning and avoiding meals like spaghetti at night, you could also start to see a little more weight loss. By drinking water before every meal and sipping it after each bite, your stomach gets more full, yet you still get the proper portion sizes you need. Water also has zero calories. Drinking fruit juice might get you the needed fruit servings, but the concentrated sugar can add pounds if it isn't burned by the end of the day.

Fat Burn Exercises

Exercise in general is good for you, but if you want to lose weight fast, focus on fat burning or high cardio exercises. You'll have to find your target fat burn heart rate using the resources listed below to make it more effective. Some modern gym equipment like the Stair Master can offer specific fat burning exercise routines. If you dare, try going to a spin class where your body is constantly moving and doesn't take very long to reach the fat burn zone. Spin class involves using a free-wheeling stationary bike as the class leader instructs you in changing positions, tension levels and paces as if you were biking the Tour De France. Even as you tire or try to pause, you'll still find yourself pedaling and keeping the body moving during class.

Sauna Sessions

A sauna session can also help drop pounds quickly, but not at a very high rate. The weight loss can be almost 600 calories in 30 minutes if using a home sauna, so doing one every other day for an hour can help you lose an extra half-pound each session. A sauna session will help burn water weight and increase your heart rate to burn more calories as well. While sitting inside the sauna, the high temperatures cause your body to be in a cool-down mode, causing you to sweat profusely. Special care must be taken if you plan to use a sauna for weight loss. You don't want to dehydrate your body or overheat it by remaining in a sauna for too long, especially after a workout.
