How to Lose Weight Fast with Tea

How to Lose Weight Fast with Tea

Tea has been used as both a beverage and an alternative medicine for thousands of years. Certain types of tea, such as green tea, are known to benefit individuals diagnosed with cancer and inflammatory diseases. Tea is like water in that it contains no calories and triggers a part in your brain that makes you feel fuller for longer periods of time. Tea is also a healthy option for weight loss.

Instructions

    1

Choose a type of tea. There are three main types including black, green and oolong. While these three kinds of tea are basically the same, they only differ in the way they are processed. Because green tea is processed the least, it offers the most benefits. However, all three promote health so if you prefer black or oolong tea, you can still drink them to lose weight.

    2

Prepare your tea. There are different ways to drink your tea so make it the way you like it. You will be more inclined to drink it if you enjoy the taste. If you prefer iced tea, make it ahead of time and keep it in your refrigerator. If hot tea is more your taste, make it before you sit down at every meal. Drink a cup of tea before you begin to eat because it will help you feel fuller, causing you to eat less.

    3

Have one cup of tea with your breakfast. Caffeinated teas help to increase your metabolism, helping your body burn the fats you consume faster. It is incorrect to assume that skipping breakfast will make you lose weight faster. If you don't eat breakfast, you might feel sluggish, tired and your metabolism will slow significantly to conserve the calories you ate the day before. Include a cup of tea with a healthy breakfast including egg whites, whole-grain toast and fresh fruit.

    4

Eliminate sugar beverages from your diet. Drink at least eight 8oz glass of tea and water a day. Increase the amount of these beverages if you engage in stimulating exercise or physical activity. Keep yourself hydrated to ensure that your metabolic and digestive systems are fully functioning. Muscle weakness and fatigue can be caused by dehydration. Drink a cup of tea after your workout. The caffeine in the tea will give you an energy boost.
