Use onions that do not have spots or bruises. Ideal onions have dry and papery outer layers.
2Make your own onion juice by boiling and steaming fresh onions. Get all of the juice by squeezing the onions after boiling or steaming.
3Cut up onions and squeeze out the juice with a clean towel. This method is a good alternative to juicing, boiling or steaming.
4Mix onion juice with other vegetables. When juicing, insert the onion before adding the other vegetables to reduce the onion smell in your juicer.
5Take 1 tsp. of onion juice at bedtime. It can be mixed with milk or honey, and it will help you sleep in addition to improving your cholesterol count.
6Add onion juice to dips and salsas for added flavor.
7Cook with recipes that allow you to use onions for their juice.
