How to Freeze Homemade Juice

How to Freeze Homemade Juice

Save excess homemade carrot, tomato, pineapple, orange or any other type of juice to enjoy later on in the week or upcoming months. Properly freezing juice can preserve the vitamins and minerals contained inside. Don't let homemade juice sit out after juicing it, unless you plan on drinking the juice within the same day. Freezing juice can help save you time throughout the week because you can just grab a container of juice in the freezer before heading off to work and then enjoy it after it thaws out. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

    1

Pour homemade juice in a tall plastic container soon after juicing it.

    2

Place a label on the container and write down the date.

    3

Squeeze a pinch of lemon or lime in tomato, carrot or other types of vegetable juices to decrease oxidization while in the freezer.

    4

Clean off the outside of the container with a wet paper towel.

    5

Place a lid on the container and put the juice in the freezer. Don't thaw the juice until you are ready to drink it all. Keep juice in smaller containers if you want to enjoy some of the juice gradually in the upcoming months.
