4Decrease your carbohydrate intake. People who exercise can consume up to 130 grams of carbohydrates a day and still lose weight. If you're trying to lose weight fast without exercise, stick with a low-carb diet (fewer than 30 grams a day).
5Eliminate sugar from your diet. If you don't have the time or desire to exercise, remove sugar from your diet. Choose sugar-free beverages and snacks.
